A Power Limit Fire Alarm Cable (FPL/FPLR) is a type of fire alarm cable designed for circuits with limited power output from the power supply. FPL/FPLR cables are commonly used in fire alarm systems where the supply voltage and current are limited, as defined by the National Electrical Code (NEC).
